#1688832: Maritime Border Security Technology Workshop - Wednesday, July 16, 2025 · 3:00 p.m. Amsterdam (GMT +2:00)

Description: About This Webinar
Maritime borders are arguably the most difficult to secure. Weather conditions, such as storms and fog, can hinder patrols and surveillance, and reduce the effectiveness of technology such as electro-optics and radar. Maritime borders are also multi-dimensional consisting of surface, sub surface and aerial. Coastlines can be irregular and difficult to navigate, with many islands, reefs, hidden coves, inlets and rivers giving easy access to the hinterland. Rivers and other geographical features can also complicate jurisdiction and control.

In this our latest technology workshop, we will talk to some of the world’s leading border technology companies, and they will share their expertise and answer your questions, whilst we explore how we can enhance border security to meet the very specific challenges of maritime environment!
