Nominees must meet all of the following criteria: • Be an independent, privately held corporation, proprietorship or partnership (not a subsidiary or a division) through fiscal year-end 2024. • Be headquartered in Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Monterey, San Benito Counties; Fremont, Newark, Union City in Alameda County or Atherton, Belmont, East Palo Alto, Foster City, Menlo Park, Portola Valley, Redwood City, San Carlos, Woodside in San Mateo County. • Have a three-year revenue history (fiscal years 2022, 2023 and 2024) with an increase in fiscal year 2024 over fiscal year 2022. • Have revenues of more than $200,000 in fiscal year 2022 and be in business throughout fiscal year 2022 (founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2022). • Provide both parts of the application package, which includes this online survey and financial verification documents described below. Financial Verification Documents Applicants must submit financial documentation confirming their net revenue for 2022, 2023 and 2024. Net revenue is gross revenue less deductions for returns and allowances or credit, when applicable. Figures must be uniform for each year, either accrual or cash. Revenue figures reported on the online survey must match the revenue figures in the financial documentation. Acceptable forms of documentation include ONE of the following: Revenue certification form — download the form here, fill it out, and have your CEO and a certified public accountant or certified management accountant sign the form attesting to the complete accuracy of the information.
