The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) is offering a one-hour Incident Response Triage webinar, Incident Response Initial Triage and Data Collection. This training is designed for newcomers to Incident Response and focuses on the first steps analysts take when an alert occurs. Participants learn how to apply structured triage, assess alert context and intent, evaluate early indicators, and identify key sources of evidence. This webinar is open to government employees and contractors across federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial governments, as well as educational and critical infrastructure partners. Please use your organization email address when registering. Participants will learn how to: Apply a structured approach to quickly determine what matters most. Identify the types of evidence most useful early in an investigation. Recognize indicators that require deeper analysis. Avoid common mistakes that delay investigations. This course aligns with CISA’s Incident Response Playbook and helps participants build strong triage skills. |
